FAQ

What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session begins with a brief conversation about your body, movement habits, and any concerns you’d like me to be aware of. The work itself is slow and attentive, allowing space for your body to respond rather than be rushed.

Is your work painful?

My work can feel deep and intense at times, but it is never meant to be overwhelming. Depth is applied with awareness, and we adjust together so your body can soften and release rather than brace or resist.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Slow Tide Bodywork is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance.

Why do you have a cancellation and no-show policy?

Each session is reserved specifically for you. Late cancellations and no-shows limit the ability to offer that time to another client, which is why the policy is in place.
